The memory function only works on the brightness position. It does not remember the strobe mode. And you are now in group 2. So you need to go into group 1 and memory function will work on Moon,Low,Med1,Med2,High1 or High2.

Fasthalf press switch ca 15 times, light flashes fast 2 times, twice. Press during first two flashes to change betwen 4/7 mode. Press during second two flashes to turn on/of memory mode. Hope this helps.
